Lucy Hutchings
With a background in surgical and dermatology nursing, Lucy’s cosmetic nursing journey began in 2018, working in large chain franchise clinics. It was here she realized she had a passion for the cosmetic nursing specialty, but felt the fast - paced, numbers driven approach did not align with her values as a Registered Nurse. She wanted more for her patients - an environment where long term relationships could be formed based in trust and mutual understanding. It is in this personable, individualized environment that Lucy believes the best aesthetic outcomes can be achieved for her patients, and she has been making this dream a reality at Peach Aesthetics since 2020.
For the past five years, Lucy has dedicated herself to building her business and her brand, Peach Aesthetics, from the ground up. Every detail has been made intentionally, with the focus being on building lasting, meaningful relationships with her patients. As a Registered Nurse with experience on surgical ward settings, Lucy brings a clinical knowledge and skill set to every treatment, ensuring care that is not only effective on an aesthetic level, but also evidence based. Lucy has a passion for expanding her knowledge particularly around anatomy, and new emerging treatments. staying up to date with the latest trends and advancements in cosmetic medicine.
For Lucy, the most rewarding part of her work in seeing the profound difference improved self confidence can make in her patient’s lives. What truly sets Lucy apart, however, is her approach to medical aesthetics. She genuinely cares about the people she meets. She takes the time to get to know her patients on a personal level, understanding why they are seeking treatment, digging deeper into each patient’s background and history in order to truly understand their aesthetic goals. Lucy prides herself on having built a reputation of excellence in Newcastle based on this genuine patient centered care, which was what brought her to nursing as a career to begin with. Lucy has a special interest in biostimulators and skin boosters, giving her patients a natural, undetectable and refreshed approach.
